Westminster Under School is currently seeking a bright, caring, and enthusiastic individual who is eager to make a difference in the lives of students with physical disabilities.
The successful candidate will provide essential classroom support and assistance with the movement of pupils around the school. The Learning Support Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and Head of Learning Development to support the teaching and learning of all pupils, monitoring academic progress, record keeping, and promoting the health and emotional wellbeing of designated pupils, ensuring compliance with school policies.
The successful candidate will provide previous experience of working with children, preferably with a focus on effectively managing student behaviour and supporting children with physical disabilities. They will be a team player with a passion for education and the ability to communicate effectively with students. The ability to work well with both a small group of pupils and on a one-to-one basis will be essential.
