The Governors are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and highly motivated Learning Support Assistant (Level 2 or Level 3 position available depending on skills and experience) to work with our SEND students.
The successful candidate will assist and supplement the work of the teaching staff in providing for the physical, intellectual, social and educational needs of our SEND students. You should be able to demonstrate an ability to work effectively as part of a team and have excellent classroom skills.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects staff and volunteers to share this commitment. You will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure and a range of other recruitment checks. Prenton High School for Girls can be found in the town of Birkenhead, Merseyside. A smaller-than-average school of around 790 pupils aged 11-16, the school converted to an academy in 2011, but is not part of any multi-academy trust. Prenton High School has a diverse catchment area, a fact reflected in its student intake.
