We offer a short-term therapeutic and educational intervention (typically two terms) for children aged 4-11 in Primary and 11-16 in Secondary who are struggling with tier 2/3 mental health needs.

Our pupils are bright, conscientious and awesome.  They require calm, encouraging and enabling adult support.  Some of our pupils have an EHCP for additional needs such as SEMH, eating disorders and or ASD etc. in Secondary and SEMH and ADHD etc. in Primary.

As a team we work hard to build resilience, social skills and mental wellbeing to enable pupils to return to mainstream school.

Facilities are excellent, class sizes are small, and SLT have a strong commitment to staff wellbeing.  We have on-site student social workers, two CAMHs therapists, and a Chartered Psychologist who supports children and families.  Together we work as a team to provide intensive care and support.

What we are looking for:

• Do you want to make a difference where it most counts?

• Do you believe that every young person has the potential to succeed with the right help and support?

• Do you believe in the power of educational to change lives?

We are seeking committed and highly motivated staff to work as part of our team.  We are keen to appoint a Learning Support Coach who can work 1:1 and in small groups with a high needs pupil.

We feel strongly that a trauma informed approach is crucial to developing well-being and supporting pupils to self-regulate and learning how to manage anxiety and emotions.

The successful candidate will have a calm nature and be able to implement clear, consistent and firm boundaries.

The post is 32.5 hours per week.  While this is a casual contract in the first instance, if could lead to a longer contract for the right candidate.
