Baytree School is a growing special school , we have recently opened a second campus in Clevedon, and as a result we are looking to grow our teams. We have a number of roles across both of our locations.


Learning Support Assistants are available at our both campuses - full time roles Monday to Friday 8:40 to 15:40 32.5 hours per week.

 

General Assistants are available at our Clevedon Campus and are required to support our lunchtime periods and would be required for a minimum of two hours each day with the option to work up to a period of four hours daily.

 

Consideration can be given to part time hours if we are able to fit in with an existing work pattern or job share.

 

The successful applicants will be required to provide support for the learning, social and personal needs of our learners. The successful applicants will need to be friendly, caring and reliable and enjoy working with children. They will need to be a team player and able to take direction from the Class Teacher and team in order to support the learning and education of pupils throughout the school day. There are a number of daily tasks/duties that the successful candidate will need to perform such as assisting with eating and drinking, personal hygiene changing, moving and handling including hoisting.
