BASELINE REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL ROLES: To ensure our students receive the depth of mastery they deserve, we require our soul group to bring a strong foundation of professional excellence:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of full-time teaching experience in the relevant field (Strictly Required).

• Education: Advanced degree (MA or PhD) deeply preferred.

• State or National Teaching License/Certificate deeply preferred.

• Pedagogy: Chinese National Curriculum, Montessori, International Baccalaureate (IB) and/or ICA (IPC & IMYC) experience highly preferred.

• Global Mindset: Prior International School experience preferred.

THE ROLE: Dual-School Teacher-Leader of Learning Support (Bilingual Mandarin/English required)

You are the protector and advocate for brilliantly diverse minds across the Baishan Education Group. This dual-school position serves students from Early Childhood through Grade 12 at both QAIS and Qingdao Baishan School. We are seeking a compassionate, strategic teacher-leader to head our Learning Support department across two schools.

Your Visionary Mandate (The Sky):

• Pedagogical Alchemy: Harmonize a diverse educational landscape, integrating neuro-inclusive support across Montessori, IB (PYP-MYP-DP), the Chinese National Curriculum, and ICA (IPC/IMYC).

• Psychological Safety: Work with students, parents, and teachers across both schools to provide the practical interventions necessary for students to thrive without shame.

• Bridge Worlds: Utilize bilingual abilities (Mandarin/English) to bridge Eastern and Western paradigms of support, communicating with a diverse parent community.

Your Practical Responsibilities (The Earth):

• Cross-Curricular Accommodations: Ensure students receive the exact support and official accommodations needed for milestones, from the Chinese National Curriculum to IB DP exams.

• Targeted Mentorship: Facilitate hands-on learning during the school day as well as afternoon Extended Learning sessions, providing direct academic and executive-functioning support to students (EC-12).

• Structural Collaboration & Compliance: Serve as a cornerstone in cross-school leadership, managing the meticulous drafting, tracking, and compliance of Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs).
