The College is looking to employ a suitably qualified applicant, working collaboratively in a team who will be required to: provide in-class and small group support to students who have special needs and/or learning difficulties; assist students to access the mainstream curriculum; and assist students with organisational and social skills. The successful applicant requires a high level of literacy and numeracy and well developed computer skills. They should have a positive attitude, patience and a good understanding of adolescent learners. Previous experience working with students with special needs in a secondary context would be an asset.
