About the Role

Contract Type: Part-time, term time only

Working Pattern: 2 days per week

Salary: Dependent on experience

Start Date: Immediate start available

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to pupils with specific learning needs, with a particular focus on dyslexia.
  • Conducting thorough assessments to determine the appropriate level of support and the specific needs of each pupil.
  • Assessing/ screening pupils either with or suspected of having Specific Learning Difficulties.
  • Tracking the progress of pupils in literacy and social and emotional development.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge and experience in supporting pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties, especially those with dyslexia.
  • Excellent communication and critical reflective skills, understanding the importance of listening.
  • A Level 5 or Level 7 Dip SpLD.
