About International School of Nice ISN

The  International School of Nice (ISN) is a private, co-educational day  school for children from preschool through to Grade 12. The school was  founded more than four decades ago for globally-mobile families aspiring  to international education on the Côte d’Azur.

ISN has been inspiring and preparing new generations with a complete  anglophone education for all preschool, primary and secondary age groups  on the dazzling azure blue Mediterranean coastline of southeastern  France. Becoming well-established over the decades; today, our school is  renowned in the area as a leading international school for graduates’  excellent exam results and university placement record.

Why ISN?

Our vibrant school attracts local families and newcomers alike who  embrace our joyful, family-like atmosphere and immersive English  learning environment for their child.

  1. We warmly welcome children who cannot speak English or French at  any ability level. We support students with English as an Additional  Language (EAL) through our EAL department. Our children develop  biliteracy through five French lessons a week.
  2. ISN’s spacious campus, with extensive facilities for sports and the  arts, home to our ISN Wolfpack football team and popular IB Diploma  arts courses, enjoys vast appeal with ISN families.
  3. We treasure our diversity, our school a clear reflection of the  international community on the French Riviera with around 42  nationalities. Each child’s home language, culture and worldview are  widely celebrated and enrich our learning community.
  4. Small and inclusive, at ISN, every child receives personalised attention to achieve their individual potential.
  5. Our school is located only five minutes from the international Nice  Côte d'Azur Airport, with easy access to the A8 motorway, on the  western edge of the city.
  6. We connect our students to their local IB World School by way of  six bus routes throughout the Alpes-Maritimes department, including  Cannes, Monaco Fontvieille, Monaco Grimaldi, Nice, Valbonne and Vence.  For our school bus route maps, please see School Services.
