Learning Support Team Leader

£26,197 - £28,635 per annum
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
As a Learning Support Team Leader you will:-
- identify and co-ordinate in class support for students with learning difficulties/disabilities;
- be jointly responsible for the day-to-day running of the provision supporting the students and all team members;
- advise teams on support strategies;
- deliver training on support strategies in their area of specialism.
You will have proven organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.
You will be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) grade C, or above, in Maths and English. You will also hold a PTLLS and Level 5 Management qualification or be willing to obtain.
You will have experience of co-ordinating, motivating and leading a team, as well as working in at least one area with people with learning difficulties/disabilities/mental health/behaviours that challenge.

Chichester College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, general further education college situated in West Sussex. It is a 16-plus institution with two main sites in Chichester and Pulborough, plus further outreach centres in Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and Worthing. It has links to local employers, most of a small to medium size.
Chichester College of Arts, Science and Technology, as it was formerly known, opened in 1964. Chichester College has been offering work-based training since 1996. It has approximately 10,897 part-time learners and 3,732 full-time students.
