Job Title: Deputy Head of Foundation Learning

Full Time :36 hours, 52 weeks per year

Salary: £42,037 - £45,755 per annum 

A market pay supplement may be paid for an exceptional candidate.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Head of Foundation Learning who will support the Head to lead and manage the Foundation Learning provision to ensure that a high-quality experience is delivered in line with College targets that meets the needs of the students and the local community and delivers excellent achievement.

The ideal candidate will have a degree and /or professional experience at an appropriate level and a teaching qualification, either a PGCE or a Level 5 teaching qualification with a specialism in SEND. They will have knowledge and experience of delivering high quality Teaching, Learning & Assessment in SEND, ideally within FE, and a record of delivering high achievement rates. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and, ideally will have some experience in supporting a team of professionals and helping to create a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. They would also have experience of working with various stakeholders including borough engagement.
