Hours 28 hours per week over 4-5 days Monday to Friday (term time only)

Priory Coleg Wales are looking to employ a proactive, confident and enthusiastic Learning Support Worker to join our team.


This is a term time contract and a certain degree of flexibility is essential as hours are based around the learners’ timetable and learners may be based at any of the Coleg Gwent Campus's: Ebbw Vale, Usk, Pontypool, Newport or Crosskeys. 


Duties will include working with allocated learners in the college environment, offering support with academic work and building on independence and employability skills through our ILS (Independent Living Skills) Programme.


It would be preferable but not essential if the successful applicant has previous experience of working with students with special educational needs and Autistic Spectrum Conditions.


Staff may be required to work outside of term time hours if training is required.

References

For all roles we require a minimum of two references.  References provided must cover the last 3 years, for all of our services we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults. Please be advised that references will be requested prior to interview for all roles within our schools.
