Bradbury School is a 4-form entry primary school.  We follow the IB PYP Curriculum providing an outstanding education to 720 students, representing a diverse range of nationalities.

Bradbury School is seeking to appoint a Learning Technologies Lead Teacher/Coach with the position being a full-time two-year contract starting August 2022, renewable by mutual consent. Please see ESF Terms and Condition for further details of   the package.

We are looking for an innovative and passionate teacher to confidently lead Learning Technologies across the school and develop Maker pedagogy. This is a new role that provides an exciting opportunity to shape innovative and creative practices at Bradbury School and across the ESF. There will also be an opportunity to collaborate on the design of related spaces as part of an upcoming school renovation. 


Responsibilities:  

  • Non-class based teacher.
  • Promote a dynamic digital learning culture and develop Maker pedagogy that provides a rigorous, relevant, and engaging education for all students.
  • Upskill teachers through coaching and co-teaching practices.
  • Promote an environment of professional learning and innovation that empowers staff and enhances student learning. 
  • Ensure a coherent curriculum is in place so that students are systematically developing their technology competencies. 
  • Inspire and facilitate a shared vision.
  • Assess the skills and needs of teaching and support staff in relation to hardware and software on an annual basis and develop and update a Professional Development Plan to address needs.
  • Lead a process of ongoing evaluation. 
  • Promote and participate in local, national, and global learning communities that stimulate innovation, creativity and collaboration.
  • Stay abreast of educational research and emerging trends regarding Learning Technology and Maker pedagogy.
  • Manage annual operational budgets and advise SLT on Capital budget spending.
  • Maintain a robust infrastructure for technology including integrated technology systems to support management, operations, teaching and learning.
  • Line-manage the Systems Team, with the aim of maximising the user-friendliness of our digital systems. 
  • Network with other professionals within the ESF Learning Technologies team.
  • Work with the Principal and SLT in regard to strategic communications.
