A successful lecturer is required to teach digital design. The role will be to teach Digital design (including the use of Adobe Creative Suite) across a number of courses which includes; photography, graphic design, media and games design, and potentially from level 2 through to level 6 to a wide range of students within the School for the Arts. Our HE courses are delivered in partnership with UCLAN.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in developing our existing provision; we have recently invested in virtual reality hardware and have plans to be the lead in the area for our digital curriculum.
Our students learn to use the full creative suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects. Our courses have very good recruitment, pass and progression rates, with good value added scores, we have been highlighted as best practice for links with industry and enhancement. The role will include continuing to build relationships with stakeholders, engaging all learners and having responsibility for high attainment in this aspect of the curriculum. You will also take on the role of personal tutor, taking a holistic supportive role for a group of students throughout their education with us.
It is desirable that you have experience of working in the cultural industries; alongside experience of teaching and that you are able to evidence high achievement and progression of students.
