About the role:

The Access team at WKC are looking for a dynamic and motivated lecturer to join the Adult Vocational team based at the college’s Soho Centre.

The post holder will be responsible for providing effective teaching, dissertation supervision and tutoring to students studying programmes at levels 3 and upwards specifically Social Science related areas and, in particular, the following specialisms:

Psychology 

Sociology 

Communications 

About you:

To be successful in this role you will need a Degree or equivalent in Social Science based degree or other relevant subject specific qualifications to the specialisms outlined above. In addition you must have a recognised teaching qualification. Furthermore, you will also need to be able to demonstrate recent and relevant experience of working within FE Access courses and a proven track record of meeting bench mark success rates. Your experience must include active participation in moderation and quality practices and the use of learner tracking and VLE software such as Moodle and ProMonitor.
