Are you a qualified and experienced Nurse? Would you like to help to develop the next generation of Nursing staff? 

In partnership with the University of Greenwich, Truro and Penwith College has expanded its provision of Apprenticeship programmes, to include the Senior Healthcare Support Worker and Nursing Associate, we are currently going through approval for the Operating Department Practitioner, with ambitions to develop a Registered Nurse Apprenticeship for September 2021. In 2022 the College will open a new £6 million STEM and Health Centre in Bodmin to enable to future growth of this provision.

We are looking for HCPC and NMC registrants, with experience of teaching and assessing and ideally curriculum development. Successful applicants will be expected to provide high quality teaching, hold or be prepared to gain a relevant teaching qualification, and be committed to being part of a new exciting initiative to help the future supply of healthcare professionals in Cornwall. 

We are one of the highest performing colleges nationally on all courses at all levels, rated Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ and a TEF Gold provider.

The College has been recognised as one of 'the best places to work' and offers a generous holiday allowance and pension scheme. The college also provides a free health and wellbeing package to staff.

A full clean driving licence and your own transport is essential as part of some roles may include visits to employers and apprentices in the workplace. Previous applicants will be carried forward.
