We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated A level Physics lecturer who can lead students to achieve outstanding results. With an Outstanding ALPs score already in A level Physics we would like to hear from applicants who have a proven track record of ensuring very positive outcomes and destinations for their students. 

The Professional Honours Programme is going from strength and strength and the successful candidate will work within a dynamic and hardworking team who deliver our unique and innovative programme to a very high standard.

Wigan and Leigh College is a further education college in Wigan, Greater Manchester, which has been providing education and training locally for more than 150 years. It employs around 1,000 staff and has a student roll of about 17,000. Further education students can choose the A-level professional honours programme or vocational qualifications such as BTECs. An expanding higher education portfolio of foundation degrees, top-up degrees, higher nationals and certificates is available to adult students of all ages, both full-time and part-time. 

Wigan and Leigh College operates from several sites across the borough: the Parson’s Walk Centre, School for the Arts and Pagefield Centre are in Wigan, close to the town centre. The Image Centre and Leigh College are close to the town centre of Leigh.
