Uxbridge College is one of the leading providers of Further Education in West London and we were graded as ‘Outstanding’ at our last Ofsted inspection (2008).

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual with experience in the computer gaming industry to teach across a variety of Computing courses, including video game and interactive media development. You would teach on HND and BTEC National Diploma programmes, and will be actively involved in developing new course material for various programming units.

You will possess a degree in a Computing subject, with industry experience in gaming including 3D Modelling, scripting languages (e.g. ActionScript) and working with compositing applications such as Nuke. You should have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage young people aged 16-19. You will either possess or be willing to achieve an advanced level teaching qualification, which will be supported financially in full by the College over the two year period of the course.
