The School of Engineering incorporates many facets of engineering – automotive, aerospace, electrical, electronics, mechanical and maintenance and its courses range from pre-entry level to Higher National Diploma.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer to join us and teach Electrical Installation and Maintenance to a diverse range of students at Level 2 and 3. Within the role, you will teach and assess practical workshop classes for employer-based and full time courses and teach theoretical classes relating to Electro-Technical Technology based subjects.
We’re looking for a candidate who holds a degree or professional qualification in an area relevant to the work in the School. Hardworking and flexible, you demonstrate excellent teaching skills and hold a teaching qualification or be willing to achieve one in line with current regulations.
With the ability to support, motivate and empathise with learners, you will have energy, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for pastoral work, your subject and education and have the ability to use new technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
