Job overview
We are seeking to appoint Lecturers in ESOL to complement our successful team. You will teach across a range of full and part-time ESOL courses on a range of levels from Pre-Entry to Level 2 including group tutorials, numeracy and IT for ESOL.
You will need to possess a degree or equivalent, together with an approved English Language Specialist Teaching qualification (minimum CELTA/ Cert TESOL) and should have experience of teaching ESOL, preferably in an FE setting, successfully to 16-18 year old learners. Experience of teaching numeracy to ESOL learners is also essential. An advanced level teaching qualification (PGCE/DET or ESOL specialist equivalent) is desirable. If you do not possess an advanced level teaching qualification, you will be supported to achieve this, supported financially by the College.
