We’re now looking for a Lecturer to teach and assess Electrical Installation apprentices and be responsible for monitoring learner progress. You will deliver training and assessment activities primarily on our apprenticeship programmes, and support and monitor work experience activities and industrial placements.
The salary will include a £5,000 uplift if the post holder holds the following qualifications:
A qualified teacher with a relevant Level 3 NVQ Electrotechnical qualification, or having registration with the JIB as ‘Approved Electrician’ status or Eng-Tech status via the IET. In addition, you should have achieved a relevant recognised Level 3 assessor qualification e.g. TAQA. Please see the person specification for more detail.
You will have proven experience of working in the Electrical industry, installing systems and equipment in a wide range of environments. You’ll be up to date in terms of technologies within the construction industry and be able to adopt different methods and strategies according to individuals’ learning abilities.
