About the role:

We are seeking to recruit an exceptional Lecturer in Supported Learning Provision who will teach and work with people who have learning difficulties and barriers to their learning. A crucial role of this post is to be involved in developing links with schools in the area and working with local employers and agencies to secure work experience and career opportunities. You will assist in the recruitment process of learners including initial assessments, securing additional learning support if appropriate and ensuring learners are on the right course for their abilities.

About you:

With the possession of a full teaching qualification in Further Education. You will have previous experience of coordinating and/or leading a staff team within an educational setting involving young people with learning disabilities, difficulties and barriers to their learning. You will have experience of teaching a range of subjects to young people including supporting young people in a personal tutor role who have learning disabilities, difficulties and barriers to their learning.
