We are currently recruiting for Lecturers in HE Social Work to join our Trowbridge campus. As a Lecturer you will play a crucial part in the team in developing new curriculum, teaching, assessing and supporting students in the acquisition of knowledge and skills to enable them to become excellent practitioners. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute towards the development of social work training for the future. An essential strength is to be able to build effective relationships within the partnership of agencies, service users and carers, students and our partner university, the University of Bath.
 
The successful candidate will hold a Social Work qualification and a relevant degree (2.1 or above), will have recent experience of professional practice and preferably hold a teaching qualification or have substantial teaching experience. As an individual you will have experience of working in a positive and flexible manner, possessing excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.

Wiltshire College is a mixed, non-denominational further education college in Wiltshire serving students from the age of 14 and above. The college has over 3,300 full time students and 6,000 part time students studying every year, along with 800 students studying a university level course. The college has four campuses around Wiltshire, located in Chippenham, Lackham, Trowbridge and Sailsbury. There are also four additional learning centres – Castle Combe, Corsham, Devizes and Warminster. 

Wiltshire College opened in 2000 and merged with Sailsbury College in 2008. The collge offers vocational courses for students between the ages of 14-16, along with apprenticeships, Further Education, Higher Education and University level courses. Accommodation is provided for students who live far away from the campus. In 2015, the college was identified as good by Ofsted.
