Job overview

Uxbridge College is a highly successful Further Education College situated in West London. We achieved the grade of ‘Outstanding’ in our last Ofsted inspection (May 2008).

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer to teach History and Politics A Level. This post will be a full time position if the successful candidate can also teach either A Level or GCSE English or Sociology. However, we would also consider applicants for a part time (21.6 hours per week) post if History and Politics are the only subjects taught.

You will need to possess a degree in the relevant subject area, and have experience of teaching History and/or Politics to A Level. You will either possess or be willing to achieve an advanced teaching qualification, which the College will support financially in full over the two year period of the course.
