Hugh Baird College is a friendly, diverse and vibrant place to work where students and the local community are at the heart of everything we do.  We have a reputation for providing high quality education and support for all learners and are seeking to recruit a high quality A-level Chemistry and Applied Science tutor on a temporary full-time basis to cover for Maternity Leave.  The vacancy is to be based at South Sefton Sixth Form campus, Litherland and is due to start on Monday 4th January.    

You will have the ability to motivate and engage a range of students with inspirational and innovative approaches to advanced level chemistry & science and be able to deliver high quality teaching and learning using practical, real life scenarios.  A relevant degree and a minimum of a level 3 chemistry qualification or equivalent level skills is essential, together with A level Chemistry and Applied Science teaching experience.

The College is situated in metropolitan Borough of Sefton, at the heart of a very busy commercial and regeneration area.
