Middlesbrough College Sixth Form – MC6 – has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Teacher of Mathematics to join our team. 


Full Time (37 hours per week), Permanent

Salary: £24,660 to £35,176 per annum


**Market Rate Supplement: A further £5,000 per annum, of salary may be available for an exceptional candidate.


We are seeking an outstanding and inspirational teacher to join an energetic team of colleagues. You must have the ability to teach A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics; experience delivering GCSE and other mathematics qualifications would also be desirable.

Middlesbrough College is a further education college based in Middlesbrough. It is a non-denominational college.

Although many of its students live in the Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool and Redcar areas, the college has students travelling from all across the region including Northallerton, Darlington and Whitby.

Over 15,200 students learn with Middlesbrough College every year. There are 4,276 full time students aged 16-18 at the college. The college has links with over 1000 employers and over 1000 of its students progressed to university in 2016. The college also has a purpose built sixth form centre (MC6) boasting a 100% pass rate in 19 subjects.
