An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed, highly motivated individual to join our successful team to deliver and assess both A level Business Studies and Economics.

You will develop and employ a variety of teaching and learning strategies, including the effective use of ILT, to ensure excellence and the achievement of course targets for retention and attainment.

As a clear and confident communicator, you will have the ability to motivate and inspire students and to create a positive learning environment leading to an outstanding learner experience.

The successful candidate should have strong business acumen and experience of working in a Business/Economics role. You will be qualified to degree level in Business/ Economics and possess a recognised teaching/training qualification or be prepared to work towards one.

As a confident communicator, you will have the ability to motivate and inspire students. You will possess good organisational and problem solving skills and business acumen. You will adopt a flexible approach to be prepared to provide cover at various College sites.

Gower College Swansea (Coleg Gwyr Abertawe) is a mixed, non-denominational further education college in West Glamorgan, Wales. The college, situated in Swansea has over 7,000 students studying there every year.

Gower College Swansea was established in 2010 after the merge of Gorseinon College and Swansea College. The college has campuses in Tycoch and Gorseinon, along with smaller learning centres at Gorseinon Centre, Broadway, Kingsway, Llwyn Y Bryn, Sketty Hall and Sandringham Park.
