An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the expanding Business Department at The Sheffield College.
We are looking to attract experienced applicants who have taught previously within the FE Business sector and who have developed specialist skills, primarily in finance, but other specialisms would be considered for an outstanding candidate.
This role will involve teaching upon the NQF as well as QCF BTEC Business qualifications, primarily at Level 3 BTEC Business, but will also provide the opportunity to work towards developing related qualifications for the adult professional market.
Applicants should be suitably qualified, please seek clarity and guidance from the person specification on the qualifications, experience, skills and attributes desired for a successful applicant. We have a large, highly experienced, hardworking team who are passionate about meeting the needs of both learners and industry, through the delivery of high quality Teaching and Learning.
We are looking for experienced lecturers who share the same values as our team who can help us to continue to build and develop our provision. The department has high expectations, standards of practice, and work ethic, high achievement rates are expected to be achieved. You will be expected to be a team player, who will contribute to the ongoing curriculum and team development, with an accompanying desire to continue to develop your own professional practice, especially your teaching and learning.
You will also be expected to work across the college’s three main campuses. For the successful candidate this will be a great opportunity to join an expanding Business Department which delivers, 16-18 study programmes, an expanding apprenticeship portfolio, Professional adult courses and Higher Education Foundation Degrees and Top ups.
