The Sheffield College – Hillsborough Campus
We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic individual to join the Academic Studies team at the Sheffield College. The successful candidate will be expected to:
• teach A Level Business Studies
• contribute to on-going curriculum and team development.
• be flexible and prepared to teach classes at Hillsborough although duties may take them to other sites the Sheffield College.
There is the potential to pick up a further 0.2 fte of teaching via Agency for the Business Department (Vocational). Ideally the successful candidate will have a teaching qualification. It is essential you hold a relevant Degree/Professional qualification (level 4 minimum). Recent post-16 teaching experience and/or working in a relevant environment is desirable. Experience of successfully teaching A Level Business Studies is essential for this role. Good ICT skills, with the ability to develop the use of VLEs and use on line student reporting and monitoring software also required.
You will be an effective team player, be flexible and willing to take on new teaching challenges as new opportunities arise. You are expected to contribute to meeting department targets for success and to add to the growth and success of the Academic Studies team.
