In January 2017, City of Westminster College and the College of North West London announced their intention to merge with a vision to deliver the highest quality education and training opportunities for students and employers across West and Central London, and beyond.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Lecturer in Chemistry to contribute to the teaching and development of Chemistry within our School of Science. You must be able to teach on AS/A2, and BTEC courses. It is essential that you are experienced in tutoring, assessing, recording and tracking students on different courses.

Successful candidates must have a degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or a related discipline, along with class teaching experience gained either in a school or college setting. You must have demonstrable high levels of skill in teaching and learning and be committed to quality education for students. In addition, you will have a successful track record of vocational and A-level results

For all positions, successful candidates will be expected to teach on a range of subjects and programmes across the subject spectrums including AS and A levels, BTEC National and key skills, up to and including Level 3. Excellent administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team are essential for all roles. You must also have a firm commitment to widening participation and equality of opportunity for all.

You will hold a hold a relevant degree qualification (or equivalent). You must possess a recognised Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or display a willingness to work towards achieving this.
