The Sheffield College 

The Business and Enterprise Faculty at The Sheffield College offers a wide range of courses including full time study programmes for young people, apprenticeships, professional part time adult courses, and higher education courses.

We currently have a requirement for an experienced, lecturer and curriculum leader with experience in delivering CILEX legal Qualifications at both Level 3 and Level 6. Our CILEX provision has grown substantially and now includes CILEX Level 3 part time evening courses and CILEX level 6 part time evening courses. We also run an evening graduate fast track course for law graduates wishing to gain CILEX qualifications, and also Legal Apprenticeships for both Paralegal and Chartered Legal Executive.

In addition to this we also offer a Foundation Degree which incorporates CILEX qualifications, as well as for our younger full time students, studying BTEC level 3 we offer a popular legal pathway. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver CILEX, BTEC Business Law and upon the Foundation degree.

Most of our CILEX provision is in the evening to adult professionals this is our priority and would involve a minimum two evenings a week, we deliver CILEX on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. There is additional requirement for daytime provision, at Level 3 on BTEC Legal topics and again Law at Foundation Degree Level which the successful applicant would be expected to deliver on.

You will be joining an experienced and professional CILEX team, who are proud of the provision they have built but need support due to our continued growth. This is an opportunity to move into education whilst maintaining your legal practice.
