About this Role:

This is an opportunity for a motivated, energetic and person to make a key contribution to this successful and growing department, teaching primarily on our level 3 and HE programmes.  The successful candidate may have the opportunity to develop their career by taking on course leadership responsibilities, depending on experience.  

Person Specification:

Applicants should be qualified to degree level or hold a relevant professional qualification, as well as holding a recognised teaching qualification.  In addition, it is essential that candidates are able to demonstrate skills and up to date knowledge in the subject area.

We are particularly interested in candidates and NQT with experience or specific qualifications and enthusiasm in the areas of programming, cyber security, social media, databases, SQL and games development with Unity.

An experienced candidate will be able to evidence a proven track record of achieving good or outstanding results at A level, will have demonstrated excellence in delivering HE, and will have a commitment to raising achievement, raising aspiration and doing what is required to achieve success for our students.  NQT's will be able to demonstrate success in delivery, enthusiasm and a passion for the subject.
