About the role:

You will be responsible for teaching on Level 1, 2, 3 & 4 in Computing courses with 16-19 age and adult learners and responsible for planning and delivering Computing subjects linked to the industry. Other general curriculum responsibilities will include assessment, tracking student achievement and some administration for the courses. As the Computing specialist, you will use the industry resources and support student performances which celebrate students’ work and skills development.

We are looking for a qualified and well-motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced teacher with a range of specialist skills in Network Principles/Security, Network Systems and Architecture, as well as skills in Coding and Logic with a general overview of command line scripts, scripting language syntax, Algorithms and data Structures to join the Computing team at the Tottenham Centre.

About you:

With appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong background in the subject area and the IT industry, you will have a teaching qualification or the commitment to undertake one during the first term of contract. You will have a history of teaching within a vocational (or similar) context to a high standard, with personal/group tutoring experience and of teaching a variety of BTEC units in Computing at Level 2, 3 and Level 4. You must have the ability to communicate with students and to motivate and support them in their studies.
