This is an opportunity to join the successful School of Education and Lifelong Learning at UEA (www.uea.ac.uk/edu). The School is embarking on an exciting period of growth and development and is committed to initial teacher education.

We seek a dynamic teacher educator with a specialism in Computing to join our innovative Primary PGCE team. The capacity to teach history is also desirable. You will also contribute to students’ development in the general professional aspects of primary teaching, including their supervision in school placements, as well as to other teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels (and, if appropriate, research) within the School of Education and Lifelong Learning.

You must have the requisite academic degrees or equivalent qualifications, hold qualified teacher status (QTS) and be able to satisfy all the essential criteria detailed in the person specification. The position is offered on an Academic Teaching and Scholarship (ATS) basis.

The post is subject to a criminal record check at enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is available from 1 August 2017, or as soon as possible thereafter, on a part-time (0.6fte) fixed term basis to 31 July 2019.
