As a Lecturer in Engineering Fabrication and Welding, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of students, by providing them with the skills, knowledge and training required to enable them to achieve their goals; while ensuring the economic development and success of engineering industries.
We are looking for an energetic and motivated person, who is enthusiastic about working with young people, adults and employers, with a passion for engineering.
You will benefit from the superbly-equipped workshops and specialist rooms available at our purpose-built Castleford Campus. The Engineering team also have strong links with industry on a regional and international level.
As a Lecturer in Engineering Fabrication and Welding, you should currently hold:
- An Engineering Vocational Qualification / NVQ3 or equivalent
- GCSE A* - C in Maths and English qualifications (Grades 9-4) or equivalent
You should also be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of working within an Engineering industry
- Experience of Teaching /Training, up to level 3, ideally in the Further Education sector
