Variable Hours
Teaching rate of pay between £14.42 and £23.70 per hour inclusive of holiday pay, dependent upon teaching qualificationsAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic professional to join the Fashion team within the Directorate of Academic & Creative Studies.
Applicants should have a range of experience which will include sewing, patterns and trends in fashion. Previous industry experience and a professional portfolio are essential
The successful candidate will combine a passion for clothing and accessories within a classroom environment, where they will guide our learners.
You will be a clear communicator with a passion for your subject and hold a relevant qualification in fashion practices or a closely related subject (relevant industrial experience may also be considered)
The successful candidate would be required to teach a range of art and design programmes from level 3.
Possession of a teacher training qualification or a willingness to work toward is essential and the ability to offer GCSE English and Maths or Functional Skills would be an advantage.
