Variable Hours

Teaching rate of pay between £14.42 and £23.70 per hour inclusive of holiday pay, dependent upon teaching qualifications

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic professional to join the Fashion team within the Directorate of Academic & Creative Studies.

Applicants should have a range of experience which will include sewing, patterns and trends in fashion. Previous industry experience and a professional portfolio are essential

The successful candidate will combine a passion for clothing and accessories within a classroom environment, where they will guide our learners.

You will be a clear communicator with a passion for your subject and hold a relevant qualification in fashion practices or a closely related subject (relevant industrial experience may also be considered)

The successful candidate would be required to teach a range of art and design programmes from level 3.

Possession of a teacher training qualification or a willingness to work toward is essential and the ability to offer GCSE English and Maths or Functional Skills would be an advantage.
