ASD is specifically for students on the Autistic Spectrum who require extensive support and is part of the wider Foundation Studies Team, which offers a wide ranging curriculum to students who experience barriers to learning. These include students with learning difficulties and disabilities, disaffected learners and students with profound and multiple learning difficulties. Applicants should have extensive experience working with students who have complex learning difficulties and disabilities and particular interest in Autism along with an academic understanding of relevant teaching and learning strategies. The successful applicant will be based in the ASD area. Applicants should hold a degree or similar professional qualifications and a recognised teaching qualification. Previous applicants will be carried forward.
