The Curriculum area of Health and Social Care is looking for a Course Leader to undertake course management, teaching and other duties associated with the role of a Course Leader/Lecturer. The role requires management of Level 3 delivery for the BTEC Foundation Diploma and Extended Diploma. In addition to this, there will be teaching and assessing on all Health and Social Care programmes, including BTEC Levels 1, 2 and 3, full cost courses and apprenticeships where appropriate.

You will have a good standard of general education with a minimum of GCSE grades 9-4 (or equivalent) in Maths and English. You will a have teaching qualification and an undergraduate degree in an appropriate subject or equivalent vocational qualification e.g. Nursing degree, Social Work degree, vocational science degree. Experience of course leadership on BTEC Health and Social Care programmes, and of teaching anatomy and physiology and related subjects at Level 3, is also essential.
