Role Title: Lecturer in History and Law

Location: Yale 6th

Contract Type: Permanent, Part- time (60% FTE)

Salary: £30,620 to £47,331 (Pro-Rata Basis) . Upper pay range points UP2 and UP3 are subject to evidence of previous progression to the Upper Pay Spine.

We are now recruiting for a Lecturer in History and Law at our Yale Campus in Wrexham.

In order to be considered for this role, you must have proven experience and competence lecturing History as a subject and be educated to degree level. Knowledge of law is desirable for this role.

As a Lecturer at Coleg Cambria you will be required to deliver both practical and classroom based learning to our students. You will also be responsible for enrolling students on appropriate courses and provide coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities as well as ensuring the safety and welfare of our students at all times. 

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified to at least Level 6/Degree Level in a relevant specialist subject area 
  • Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, C&G 7407)
  • Able to identify, interpret and apply specific knowledge to practice
  • Competent digital literacy skills.
  • Be able to develop and use a range of teaching and learning techniques

Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
