A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and inspiring Lecturer in Hospitality who is committed to providing innovative teaching and learning to ensure that our learners receive the best educational experience.
Our new curriculum offer is an exciting blend of a full-time hospitality and catering offer that will lead to a guaranteed apprenticeship at high quality businesses within this occupational area.
Your role will involve the marketing, delivery and assessment of our Hospitality & Catering courses across various levels. In the first instance, delivery will focus entirely around the City & Guilds Level 2 Professional Cookery qualification. You will also be required to lead on course leadership as well as liaising with local businesses to ensure that all our learners have relevant industry skills and are work ready after their curriculum completion.
Applicants must possess recent industrial experience in a high-end hospitality or catering setting and /or a degree or equivalent vocational qualification to at least level 6. A Teaching Qualification to the required national standards or a willingness to undertake a formal teaching qualification in a timely manner is essential. Level 2 in English, Mathematics & ICT qualifications are essential as is a commitment to attainment of student success.
