We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, industrially current and motivated Lecturer to join the IT team to teach IT programmes from level 1 to 5. It’s a very exciting time to be joining our school as we moved into our new Engineering block in June 2016, which has several new IT rooms.

The successful candidate will be educated to at least degree level or hold a level 4 professional qualification related to IT/Computing as well as hold a teaching qualification or a willingness to complete a teaching qualification within 2 years.

A proven track record of effective delivery/achievement and tutorial support to learners is required as well as having sound, up to date knowledge of IT/Computing industries. Familiarity with internal and external verification procedures would be a distinct advantage.

You will need to have good planning skills for lesson plans, schemes of work (plans for learning) and quality files. The individual will contribute to the IT team and develop programmes of work.
