A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Lecturer to join a dynamic and expanding team within the department of Sixth Form with an emphasis on the teaching of Applied Law Level 3 and a willingness to contribute to one (or more) other subject(s) from a range of A-levels currently on offer including but not limited to Criminology, Politics and Sociology.
We are looking for a highly skilled classroom based practitioner, with experience of teaching and assessing in Level 3 Applied Law with Edexcel Pearson. However, applications would be considered from exceptional practitioners with relevant subject knowledge and teaching experience who demonstrate the enthusiasm and willingness to adapt their practice and engage with the required training to meet this need.
You will also be contributing to the development of the courses and responsible for monitoring and maintaining high levels of student attendance, retention and achievement in our fast growing and improving Sixth form.
The successful candidate will have relevant teaching experience, a related undergraduate qualification, plus a teaching qualification, and a qualification in English and mathematics at minimum Level 2.
