An exciting opportunity has arisen within our high performing LLN team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual with a proven record of engaging adult learners.
The School of Language, Literacy and Numeracy are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified maths tutor to join our outstanding teaching team, working in an hourly paid or part time role.
You will teach within our maths Functional Skills provision and preferably have the potential to teach across all levels. Our highly successful maths provision includes college based courses, evening and community classes from pre-entry to Level 2 qualifications. You will have the opportunity to teach across levels and will be required to contribute to our evening programmes.
This role would suit someone with an understanding of adult learners and the ability to deliver innovative learning opportunities to meet their varied needs.
Applications welcomed from experienced and newly qualified teachers, who can demonstrate their enthusiasm and have a desire to work with adult learners. FE or community teaching experience would be desirable, although if this is your ambition and you are willing to obtain your teacher training qualifications, we would also like to hear from you.
