We offer a diverse range of courses to our students and are currently seeking to recruit a Lecturer in Marine Boat Building & Composite Manufacturing for the Marine Sector.

This is a full time role delivering traditional boat building and composite manufacturing processes and, as such, you must have relevant industry experience and teacher training can be provided.

As a Lecturer, you’ll be responsible for providing a high quality learning experience to students taking boat building and composite manufacturing courses.

Responding to the needs of students, you’ll prepare and mark their work and monitor their progress towards individual targets. You’ll maintain accurate records and provide timely reports and reviews to students, parents, employers and other staff.

Encouraging an inclusive learning environment, you’ll support individual learning styles and provide extra assistance to students with any learning difficulties and disabilities. Additionally, you’ll contribute to the design, delivery, future planning and development of the curriculum.

To be considered, you must have:

- Experience within the boat building or composite manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of current developments within the curriculum with an emphasis on marine engineering or boat building
- An understanding of appropriate H&S requirements
- Knowledge of working with composites
- A degree, higher national or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject area OR a teaching qualification (or the willingness to work towards this)

Flexible and organised, as a Lecturer, you must have strong communication skills, a team player mentality and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
