Are you passionate about the importance of developing Maths Skills? Would you like to be part of a high-performing team developing a new strategy to improve the delivery and quality of Maths teaching and learning in a successful and rapidly improving college? Then this role could be for you…

As well as a relevant degree qualification (or equivalent), you will be qualified up to at least Level 3 in Maths. You will also hold a recognised Level 5 Numeracy subject specialist qualification or be willing to obtain one upon appointment. In addition, you must possess a recognised Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or display a willingness to work towards achieving this.

You will be an enthusiastic, flexible and innovative teacher with experience of delivering Maths preferably in a vocational context. However, we welcome applications from teachers across all sectors of learning and from an appropriate industrial context.

For all positions, successful candidates will be expected to teach on a range of subjects and programmes across the subject spectrums including AS and A levels, BTEC National and key skills, up to and including Level 3. Excellent administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team are essential for all roles. You must also have a firm commitment to widening participation and equality of opportunity for all.
