Job overview
We are currently looking for a Lecturer in Media to join us on a permanent basis who has experience of teaching and pastoral care from Level 2 to Degree.
You must have experience of Creative Media production and theory (such as film and television production) and a good understanding of current industry practice.
Being dedicated to delivering motivating and inspiring teaching and learning to unleash the potential of our students, you will also be expected to prepare schemes of work, lesson and assessment plans.
Participating in the interviewing, enrolment and induction of students, you will also be expected to use information on students’ starting points, such as initial assessments, to plan teaching and learning.
A Teaching Qualification, i.e. DTLLS, Cert. Ed/PGCE, or equivalent (or a commitment to work towards) is essential for this role, alongside appropriate Business and Accounting qualifications.
