Lecturer in Multi Trades (Construction)

We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced candidate to join the Windsor Forest Colleges Group as a Lecturer in Multi Trades (Construction) on a full time, permanent basis.

This role is also open to candidates who are currently working in a construction trade background who aspire to teach, passionate about passing on their skills and knowledge to the next group of industry professionals.

Lecturer in Multi Trades (Construction)

With a strong reputation for its construction curriculum, we are seeking an experienced, highly skilled and qualified professional who is passionate about their industry and the opportunities it can offer.

You will be responsible for delivering an effective teaching programme within Multi Trades (painting & decorating, plumbing, carpentry & electrical). Sharing your skills and knowledge with learners, you will utilise your experience to motivate students to achieve, whilst developing and maintaining high levels of student retention and attendance. You will also develop ways of working that are responsive to learners’ needs, whilst monitoring and evaluating progress and practice.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the progress and achievement of their learners and be an effective communicator. You will need to hold a relevant trade qualification at level 3 or above and be willing to work towards, or currently hold, a teaching and assessment qualification.
