Apply your Music, Performance and Production knowledge to inspire the next generation of creative practitioners.
We are looking for a motivated individual, with relevant up-to-date knowledge of the Music Performance and Production industry, to join our progressive and highly successful team working within the Faculty of Creative Arts, acting as Course Tutor to the Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Music, as well as teaching on other courses within the Faculty including our degree programmes as requested.
As post-holder, you will be a Music specialist with skills and the ability to teach general Performance and Production skills. You will be responsible for the planning the delivery for our level 3 Music students in conjunction with existing staff members. There is a requirement to develop Maths and English within Music continuing to improve achievement rates for learners in this area of the study programme.
In addition, you will be tutoring a group of students, assisting student progress, and inspiring the next generation of performers, sound engineers and producers. You will also be responsible for supporting all learners in your tutor group to achieve a minimum of 37 hours work experience over the academic year for year 1 students and significant Industry Placement for our year two learners. A key part of this is the reflective log produced for quality audit.
