We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and inspirational teacher to join our successful Engineering/Motor Vehicle department. There has been significant capital investment to bring the latest technology into the area.
We are looking for someone to bring their skills and enthusiasm to a growing subject area.
The successful candidate must have a degree in the relevant subject area and have or be working towards a teaching qualification.

Mid-Cheshire College is a general further education college in Northwich. As of the most recent full inspection there were 2,600 students on the school roll, of which two thirds were 16 to 19 year olds in full time education. The school is located adjacent to Hartford Church of England High School. The town of Northwich has a population of 20,000, and is located 19 miles south of Manchester. Facilities at the college include a hair and beauty salon, and an autotech garage.

The best of both worlds, a foundation degree at Mid-Cheshire College combines classroom teaching with relevant work-based learning. By the end of the course students have a strong academic understanding of their subject, as well the practical skills needed to launch a successful career in a chosen industry.
As part of the college’s apprenticeship programme students can work towards a nationally recognised qualification while demonstrating their understanding and expertise in a chosen industry. Assessment work is combined with vital real-life experience, putting knowledge into action at work. Upon completion of the apprenticeship students receive a National Vocational Qualification (QCF) equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree, as well as a portfolio of completed work, a Technical Certificate, and proven on-the-job experience.
