An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Humanities and Social Sciences team. We are looking for a vibrant and committed personality who will combine a good honours degree in Psychology and teaching qualification with the ability to inspire students and staff. Most of the work for this post will be at A level. However, we also offer IB Psychology and have a thriving HE Psychology department. 

Psychology is a popular and successful subject, with over 350 learners at A Level. We follow the AQA course and the team work very closely together, monitoring Exam Board changes, sharing and developing resources and supporting and sharing good practice through team development meetings. The department also provides thorough support to NQTs.

We are looking for someone who works with confidence with a wide variety of ability levels, who is a committed team member and who projects an enthusiasm for this subject.

Applicants should hold a degree or similar professional qualifications and a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one. As well as teaching, the successful candidate is likely to have responsibility for a tutor group.
