Job overview

Lecturer in Psychology

We have an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified person to teach A Level Psychology within our vibrant FE setting.

If you are a qualified teacher, or an NQT looking for your first teaching role, we offer a great opportunity, within a top performing college.

We are looking for a strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.  You will have a good degree in psychology or a related field and should hold (or be willing to work towards) a recognised teaching qualification.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate strong and successful outcomes in recent delivery of A Level psychology.

This is one of our most popular A level subjects so a passion for the subject is essential, as is the ability to transfer your passion to the students, translating into excellent results.

The interview for this position will take place on the 15th May 2018

Please apply by the 24th April, completing both the application form and the E&D monitoring form.

Completed forms should be sent to jobs@selby.ac.uk

Selby College  has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and expects all staff to share this commitment. All posts are subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosure and any gaps in employment will be explored in interview.
